@mchill saidI hope that he can run things if incarcerated. THAT is what to ask about. I would rather hear him, in prison, answer in long informative sentences as to what he will do about Hamas et al, than to hear Biden when asked that question yesterday, .................said........................................'Hope springs eternal,' and turned and walked away from reporters.
Since Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts earlier this year, I was wondering:
Has America ever had a convicted felon / President?
Maybe some of you history buffs can tell me, because I can't recall one.

Our legal system has a process, that process is not complete yet. You are being mislead.
BTW, what is the crime? the constitution requires a person be told of the crime against them?
It is sad that you support the corruption of our legal system…where do you think it stops?

@divegeester
It is very unlikely that he goes to prison regardless of convictions. The secret Service would be required to guard him ...

@Ponderable saidI realise that.

But it’s fun to imagine him in there; an orange man in an orange jumpsuit, with a swish of bleached hair and pouty mouth.
Oh he’d be loved and cuddled.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidI misunderstood your system then. I was sure the jury (of peers) found him guilty of all 34 charges. Now he of course has the right to, if he hasn’t already, appeal those convictions but as it stands he is a felon and awaiting the judges decisions as to the penalty. Oh wait, not being a lawyer, maybe the judge can’t sentence him , as a felon, till the appeal process has ended?๐ค In the meantime he was deemed guilty by the jury.๐

@Great-Big-Stees saidyes the jury found him guilty, the judge has the final say.

the judge erred in jury instruction, in violation of Trumps constitutional rights.
even you cant tell me the crime Trump is charged with, except for a broad range of issues that were never specifically addressed.
@Great-Big-Stees saidThe judge delayed sentencing after Trump got the conservative Supreme Court to rule presidents are immune from prosecution for any acts while in office.

The delay was to review whether that ruling has any merit regarding the hush money trial. But even the judge said Trump's delay request was "meritless" since the hush money payment and falsifying of records happened before he was president.
