That's fine. Most non Americans that have met more than a few Americans know you are all lovely baptists with good family values and high standards except those cowboy types who just wanna stud their seed in y/our daughters. 😉
Madi ...[text shortened]... the wrong people. She says you are now promoting democracy.
Our foreign policy? What right does a bunch of do nothing, know nothing tiny islanders have to criticize anything? What you up to now? Two million people living on your "mighty" (small) Island? Hell. I even hear that "somebody" wrote a book there last year. Or within the past couple of years.

Hey MatÖÉrm,
If you think about it, from our side "everything else" is just "you guys". Ain't it? Us -- then "everything else". So when we critisize "everything else" it just us ranting against "you". That Ok with your sensitive self? Gosh. I sure would hate to think you could be hurt by such harsh words. That would just crush my sensitive ...[text shortened]... n the sixties. But that will fade as the world grows to understand the evil nature of communism.
I knew I could rely on you to demonstrate the self-centredness of which I was speaking.
And so dies the hope of "balanced" flaming...

We care not how we run them out, but send the boats away,

I guess that is ONE explanation. Another might be that I enjoy making
people think about how silly the constant anti-US bs is to those of us
who actually think we are not too bad a people. A little anti-everyting
else seems more than fair. Doesn't it?
These forums have gone way downhill....

You went to far here and lost a listening ear down under. Your drunken outbursts are nonsensical crap that make you a complete laughing stock.
Read posts before you shoot off at the mouth. I posted two news items from todays news for your opinion in a manner I honestly thought you personally would enjoy... you once again you didn't read it and shot from the hip.
NZ split the atom, climbed Everest and Won the US golf Open.
You may be well travelled, be well read, own lots of property, but it's you sitting there friday night pouring whiskey into yourself... sounding very mixed up and unhappy. See ya around chimp.

In order for me to care about peoples opinions within this chimp community, I would have to be capable of being "shamed" and/or "humiliated". This would immediately put me in fear of being "shunned". By the normal standards. Do I show any signs of caring?
Just wondering. I'm just here doing some experiments for my amusement. Don't worry about it. As I once told a person here... "I'm just passing through. I want to set up a certain persona and see what happens." The experiments are about done now, and it has been fun.

Here's one for you.(and SWV). from Cowboypoetry.com My little "let up" for you
By GREG BEATTY
Bellingham, Washington
Dad and the Remington
When they come into his office,
They see the paper, computer,
fax machine--and the Remington:
Bronze horse rearing against the sun.
Visitors know he's been to Rome,
Peking, New York, but here at home
They see the horse, and they ask why.
My dad smiles, shrugs, and sometimes sighs.
How can he explain what it means?
He sees the horse--suddenly beams
Of western sun burn his pale skin!
He feels the juniper wind again.
Instead of carpet, his feet find
Dry steam beds leading to a silver mine
That he saw in a Lone Ranger movie
And instead of paper tigers he
Fights bad guys, shoots pistols, and wins
The schoolmarm blond. His pureheart grin
Belies his lightning hand. He renders
Justice in austere Badlands splendor.
The bars, the trees, cattle and hawks.
Being a man who does, not just talks.
Eats food from the fire, not the stove.
And knows devotion, loyalty, love.
In the west, in his heart, Dad knows-
His lingering gaze at the Remington shows--
Life's the way it's supposed to be.
And sometimes, he regrets the city
Life he led with mom and me, but
He shot caps with me, plopped my butt
On a pony, wore too small chaps, and
Pretended I shot the gun from his hand.
So when they ask about the statue,
And he shrugs as he tends to,
And says, "Oh, I just like the horse,"
That's the code of the west. No, of course
The hero doesn't brag. But he showed me
What the west is, what a man should be.
My Dad's the cowboy Remington
Didn't carve, or at least, so writes a son.

Greg told us: "I spent a lot of my young adulthood trying to distance myself from my family, and my small town upbringing, only to have that come back around and leave me longing for connection. So I've been writing about that now and again, and that's where this poem came from. My dad loves the artwork of Russell and Remington, and this poem is an homage to him."
I'm proudly selling US Western product inc books of poems and Remington & Russel prints down in my chimp village in a small South Pacific Island.. Cowboy dreaming Kia Ora.
