I am genuinely curious to know what period of American history is being referred to when it is said that America is going to be made 'Great Again?'
I'm pretty sure that it isn't a specific year but maybe a certain period of 5-10 years?
I've never heard anyone actually say what time period they mean by this slogan, I'd be grateful for any answers...

Sounds like you are describing a pre-civil rights America, no?

The 1950s maybe, or before the girls could vote?

@Mott-The-Hoople
Any year(s)/ period of time?

Oh, you mean like LBJ? That was what, 63?
Your main problem with people today is whitey will be a minority in a few years, I bet that tears at your brain DAILY. Your fantasy, killing every brown and black skins in the US, and might as well include native Americans while you are at it so your fantasy can be fully fulfilled.
I bet dimes to donuts you would love to go back in a time machine and assassinate LBJ for signing that crappy civil rights deal.

LBJ...a real racist? Do you know what he called the civil rights act?

"Then in 1957, Johnson would help get the "nig ger bill" passed, known to most as the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

Lol the year crude oil was selling for $150 a barrel and a gallon of gas costs over $4? The mortgage crisis massive recession year brought on by Republican-led deregulation of the financial sector? The bailout when Republicans let bankers know they didn't have to worry about risk or leverage anymore? The year the deficit exploded and America realized we need a Democrat to clean up the mess? Unemployment rates were worse than COVID in 2008 you serious????

I think that was the same year I stopped being a republican. FWIW.

Remember when every country ON EARTH was ruled by Monarchs/Emperors who ruled and the people had no rights at all?
Then in the late 1700's some people came along and said HEY WAIT......Let's vote for the people we put in power, and be able to vote them out when we want to? PLUS let's make some rules about what the govt can and cannot do to make sure our rights don't get tramled, and call that the Bill of Rights?
Seems like that was when America was great, , and there were some problems and inconsistancies, granted, but it JUST GOT BETTER over the ensuing years, and other countries how great the idea was and did the same thing..
So America was great from it's inception.

I wasn’t talking about the economy.
The sub-prime lending fiasco was bipartisan. Oil was a totally different reason…BTW the bottom dropped out of the oil market by dec 2008.

I was talking about culture. Things have went down hill since the first queer/ trans people in the whitehouse

Yeah a culture of unemployment, a tanking stock market and corporate welfare. No one talked about trans culture because much bigger problems existed. 2008 was the year our culture decided not to let rich people lose money anymore. They all needed to be bailed out of risky behavior by taxpayers. No thanks, boss.

@beardmusic

That would be the end of world war 2, up until right before 2008 when the divisive clown Obama was elected.

Of course the tag along gang here will nitpick some specific events during that 60 years. Like the stock market or some tard civil rights BS 🙄

Personally, I think the 1980's and 1990's was the best 20 year span.
