Here is a good take on what happens when the rich leave NYC. Property values are a BIG deal, and consider that the real estate developers will swoop in and gobble up the vacated properties, which they will rent to the masses (you), and the end result will be......the properties will only be rentals. So, no more home ownership???? This is the main dream of Americans ...to own their own home. I assume you do. I cannot IMAGINE not owning my home.
