A "r*pe by deception" case

For those that don't know, "rape by deception" would be something like engaging in sex while pretending to be the partner of a victim who's unaware you're not. This can also include lying about or not disclosing being trans.

Given the decades-long animosity between Jews and Palestinians, should lying to the Jewish woman have been criminal offense?

One thing the article doesn't mention: Is it a crime in Israel if the Jew was the one who lied to the Palestinian? That's not made clear. If there's no criminal offense for Jews lying to Palestinians in the same way, then it's clearly wrong.
