The post that was quoted here has been removedAs an agnostic I don’t understand why either party has to convert or relinquish their personal beliefs. I get that children can be an issue in terms of which religion or no religion they’ll be raised in but the children in this case could have been raised in the mother’s religion without the father converting.
Maybe it’s not about Muslim or Christian men but male chauvinism in general. It would be interesting to see the figures regarding who converts to what religion in terms of gender.
