A year ago today, FoxNews called the US presidential election for Joe Biden. While I didn't vote for him, since then he has accomplished:
- Ending the 20 year Afghanistan war
- recovering 5.6M jobs
- Fully vaccinating 70% of a divided country
- Stocks up $8,000
- passing a huge Infrastructure bill that TDS promised but never delivered.
And the media is hysterical about how poorly things are going.
I may not agree with everything a president does, but don't deny major milestones and accomplishments that make our country a better place.

Don't you think Trump deserves some credit for that?
"Fully vaccinating 70% of a divided country"
Trump helped bring you those gene vaccines. He is a tool of big pharma just like Biden. Give them both credit for being tools.
"Stocks up $8,000"
So is inflation. Assets go up with inflation and businesses are assets. Is Biden taking credit for the inflation too? The cost of potatoes and meat are up too, especially beef. Would you like to adjust those stock prices to inflation?
The Infrastructure spending was long overdue. It should have happened in 2008 when the economy was on the ropes, but the big banks got corporate welfare instead. They were supposed to loan out the money they got from the taxpayers, but Bank of America bought Countrywide with taxpayer money instead.
Biden's approval poll numbers are pretty bad. Independents have already turned against him and even some democrats do not approve of his gene vaccine mandate. Just because someone voluntarily gets the jab doesn't mean they want it mandated.

28% of Democrats do not want Biden to run for reelection. You may want to reevaluate who is doing the denying.

I don't think Biden wants to run for re-election. He'll be 82.
His primary goal was to get the buffoon out of the White House.
Mission accomplished !!
@metal-brain saidAlso, I noted on another thread, this is dejavu Carter presidency, the inflation, the malaise, the misery index. Reagan rolled him down the hill, landslide style.

Curious, dear libs. Why does not Biden change his course? We know it is not him, per se, but his handlers,,,,,,,how do they think they can overcome the malaise of today? They wearing blinders, are they?
@metal-brain saidI was waiting for you to deny these major milestones and achievements but it never happened.

Afghanistan. It has been pretty obvious that Trump tried to throw the incoming administration under the bus. He signed that order in December during a transition period. He should just have left the troop count to the new administration. Intentional sabotage.
COVID. Biden achieved good success battling the pandemic in the face of resistance of some prominent GOP states (Florida and Texas) resisting the measures. In the name of freedom.
I'll repeat the question I put out recently.
What is an acceptable COVID death count to meet the objective of taking back the Senate and House in 22 and the White House in 24 ?
What is acceptable ??
Supply chain issues. I'm currently in the UK. Supply chain issues are global in nature.
Blaming Biden is just cheap politics.
Immigration. A continuing issue through multiple administrations. Climate change will eventually threaten the food supply of India and SE Asia in general. You think immigration (actually migration) is a problem now, just wait a couple of decades.
Btw, when America's farmlands dry up, don't bother coming to Canada. We're building a big beautiful wall. And America is paying for it. 😛
@wildgrass saidBtw. My post was not directed at you.

@mghrn55 saidGood points. Over the years I think it's been puzzling to watch how quickly the politicians flip when their party flops out of power. The Trump years proved that, in the US at least, conservatives do not care about small government principles or deficit spending. And yet now we have them all whining that Joe is spending too much and ignoring the extravagant excesses of their chosen one from just last year.

@AverageJoe1
Yeah, passing the covid relief bill and the 1.2 TRILLION dollar infrastructure bill.
You must HATE it when a democrat achieves something.
BTW, an infrastructure bill that Trump TRIED but failed to pass.
So good luck trying to find pluses for your corrupt god king wannabe.

Assets rising during inflation is something any moron can accomplish.
Continuing Trump's deal with the Taliban is not much of an achievement.
Is Biden eager to take credit for inflation?
@sonhouse saidTrump put forth an ultimatum that they drop their witch hunt after him and he would pass the bill and democrats refused. The witch hunt was more important to democrats.

Even a braindead kangaroo is preferable to the orange monstrosity.
Just look at the polarisation in the US and the amount of increased moronity we have to suffer on this forum because of him.
