We desperately need him as president. He is 76 years old. How long do you think we would have him in congress? Maybe he would retire soon anyway.
As an aside, notably Paul elected at age 76 would by far be the oldest president in history. So far, Ronald Reagan was the oldest president, elected at age 69, and leaving office after two terms at age 77, only one year older than Paul is currently. The youngest president was John F. Kennedy elected at age 43.
If Paul didn't die in office and served two terms as president, he would be age 84. Ancient.
