remember when Cynthia Tucker (natl columnist based in Atlanta) got all bent out of shape because victims who were women of color didn't get mentioned much in the national press but white victims did? but then all or almost all (3 of 4?) of the "white" victims were all women of color, or half. they just had "white" names. e.g., Lacy Petersen was hispanic.
