"ActBlue, the major Democratic fundraising platform, is blowing up this afternoon.
Since Biden's announcement, the platform — which includes presidential fundraising as well as down-ballot candidates and Democratic-aligned groups — has raised more than $27.5 million.
That’s far more than normal: Over roughly the same time period yesterday afternoon, for example, it saw about $2.7 million in donations, or one-tenth today’s amount."

It's no surprise the party's base has been energized by the news.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidBiden wasn't my candidate; I didn't vote for him in 2020 and I wouldn't have voted for him this November.
never before have I seen people so happy their candidate failed
@no1marauder saidyou just defended him right?

@Mott-The-Hoople saidHe's been a good President considering the mess he inherited from the incompetent con man he followed at least in domestic policy. But he never should have run in 2024.
you just defended him right?
@no1marauder saidworld peace is on fire right now dumbass

@Mott-The-Hoople saidYou're right; I forgot to give him credit for ending our useless occupation of Afghanistan.
world peace is on fire right now dumbass
Thanks for reminding me.
@no1marauder saidFormer President Barack Obama endorsed an open Democratic primary process at the convention next month — less than an hour after former President Bill Clinton endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president.

I'm telling you...it will not be Kamala.
Didn't I tell you Biden would step down? The plan B assassination attempt was a surprise, but after that failed they had no choice. And the short selling of Trump's stock happened. Someone wealthy knew and it wasn't like Crooks told a super wealthy friend that took him seriously.
Or do you think it will be Michelle? That would explain Barack not wanting Kamala. Right?
@no1marauder saidThat was Trump that did that.
You're right; I forgot to give him credit for ending our useless occupation of Afghanistan.
Thanks for reminding me.
He planned the whole thing before Biden took office.
@Metal-Brain saidThe troops were still there, weren't they?
That was Trump that did that.
He planned the whole thing before Biden took office.
Who knows what Trump would have done; he did nothing to end the occupation for 3 and a half years then struck a one sided deal behind the back of our Afghan allies hoping it would help him win re-election.
@no1marauder saidYou are so full of crap. Ending the Afghan occupation was Trump's idea, not Biden's. We have been through all of this before.
The troops were still there, weren't they?

STOP LYING!

The troops were still in Afghanistan the day Trump left office the same that they were in there when he took office.
Within 8 months of Biden taking office, they were out of the country.
Those are the facts.
@no1marauder saidThat doesn't prove Trump didn't plan the whole thing? Biden had troops there for several months too.
You're the one who is lying.

Within 8 months of Biden taking office, they were out of the country.
Those are the facts.
What is wrong with you? You know Trump planned the end to the Afghan occupation. stop lying!
@Metal-Brain saidTrump had four years to end the occupation. He didn't.
That doesn't prove Trump didn't plan the whole thing? Biden had troops there for several months too.
What is wrong with you? You know Trump planned the end to the Afghan occupation. stop lying!
Why did he just "make plans" only in his last year and only to go into effect the year after that?
Biden ended the occupation, not Trump. Again, those are the facts.
@no1marauder saidA super PAC?
