The taliban is holding American hostages.

Apparently these "hostages" are mostly Afghans staying at nice hotels:

An Afghan official at the airport in Mazar-i-Sharif said the would-be passengers were Afghans, many of whom did not have passports or visas, and thus were unable to leave the country. He said they had left the airport while the situation was sorted out.

The Afghan official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject, said it was four planes, and their intended passengers were staying at hotels while authorities worked out whether they might be able to leave the country. The sticking point, he indicated, is that many did not have the right travel papers.

Residents of Mazar-i-Sharif also said the passengers were no longer at the airport. At least 10 families were seen at a local hotel waiting, they said, for a decision on their fates. None of them had passports or visas but said they had worked for companies allied with the U.S. or German military. Others were seen at restaurants.

I am aware of that, but they cannot refuel them and ready them for another takeoff from an airport. Who does that? Somebody has to and that is no fantasy.

Your naivety that drones are self fueling is the fantasy.
You’ve heard of aircraft carriers and mid air refuelling right

Apparently Reapers can operate off aircraft carriers now: https://www.stripes.com/unmanned-aircraft-that-saw-heavy-combat-in-the-global-war-on-terrorism-are-now-headed-to-sea-1.646541

"The Reapers flew 2,000 miles to California and still had plenty of fuel left to operate, Davis said."

The US will not let go of the Kabul airport.
It did.

Yes, but that really isn't a good explanation. Where are those being refueled if that is how the drones are being refueled?
Drones have to land at some point in time. They cannot fly forever. They also have to be armed with new bombs. Do they mid air refit bombs too? You have a lot of explaining to do now that you brought it up.

Who is maintaining the drones?

The Taliban was protecting the airport for us. Are they refueling the drones and arming them with bombs? Somebody has to. Drones do not arm themselves.

Oh, they did SUCH a good job of that, allowing ISIS K to blast 200 people to hell and gone.

And you IGNORE the fact it was Biden giving orders to kill ISIS K members which he did TWICE, the second time the blast was accompanied by a HUGE secondary blast because the car those dudes were in was loaded with explosives.

But you want to keep THAT part secret since it doesn't help your quest to oust Biden.
