You actually prefer Kamala 'word salad' Harris? You think this would have helped with Iran ..

“Iran is a country, but we don't live there, so it's not our country. And when we go there, we are in another country.” — Kamala Harris

You better off paying more for eggs and gas.

I assume this is parody and so will move on.
He should be reminded that that is why we didn't vote for him.

A full half (or more, I didn't examine it that minutely) of this list is just Trump's personal fantasies.

@Sleepyguy said
Anyone remember this list? You may disagree with these ideas, or Trump's methods, but this is what he campaigned on. I think it's fair to say he's trying to keep these promises. Isn't that what a President is supposed to do?

20 Promises to the American People:

1. SEAL THE BORDER, AND STOP THE MIGRANT INVASION

2. CARRY OUT THE LARGEST DEPORTATION OPERATION I ...[text shortened]... AND PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP

20. UNITE OUR COUNTRY BY BRINGING IT TO NEW AND RECORD LEVELS OF SUCCESS
1) IDK what “sealed” means but I do know Mexico still hasn’t bought us a border wall. There is no invasion and never was. At best a C grade for this one.

2) Yeah this one has been fulfilled as far as I know. Grade A

3) America is not affordable again. I don’t pay attention to inflation. C grade at best.

4) No idea though I suppose starting wars war among all the other energy producers might help. C grade.

5) The US has not made the transition to being a manufacturing “superpower” as we were in the mid 20th century. Again Trump’s methods involve purely attacking and suppressing alternatives rather than encouraging more production.

6) I haven’t been following this but I am convinced that Trump must have cut taxes primarily on the wealthy. I abstain from this one.

7) FAIL Constant violations of the Constitution, freedom of religion and his goons even murdered a man for carrying a perfectly ordinary and legal pistol and called it a “military grade assault pistol”.

8) FAIL he’s doing his best to start WWIII. War in Europe and Middle East is increasing and there is no “Iron Dome”.

9) FAIL Trump is using government against the People every chance he gets.

10) He’s definitely working toward these ends. IDK how to measure success. B grade.

11) FAIL He’s done nothing for LA. You don’t clean up a city by sending in the Army to intimidate people.

12) D grade. He’s using a lot of military resources, not providing the tax funds to replace them and he is wasting money on his stupid “Battleship”. He’s also cut the pool of eligible military personnel for no rational military or economic reason. The US military was already the most powerful. Trump did not make that happen. It’s worth reflecting that this is now the Drone Age of warfare and Obama was the one who invested in drones. Trump is stuck in the 40s as far as military matters go.

13) C. Trump hasn’t yet ruined this one but he did not make it happen either.

14) IDK no comment

15) B

16) A

17) This is phrased in a loaded way but we know what he meant and yes he did it. A

18) C I don’t think he’s changed college culture much

19) He’s doing his best to secure our elections for his benefit. B grade.

21) FAIL He’s the most deliberately divisive President I’ve ever seen or read about. He has not attained any particular success for this country.

Inflation was already a global problem coming out of COVID—supply chains, energy, and spending all played a big part And excuse me, it is not something that one president just turns on and off. We are all puzzled when you libs say that Trump caused inflation when it was 9% when he took over and whittled It’s way down to about 3% oh well, we are dealing with liberals.
...[text shortened]... out basis or merit. Same for marauder, look at his one-liner above, sounds like the Suzianne poster.
Right, the OP said one of Trump's agenda items is to end inflation, but now you say president's can't do that.

Most first world countries have their inflation rates back down to the 2% range but we're still at 3.3%

... because of supply chains? Trump closed the strait.

... because of tariff surcharges? Trump did that, too.

... because of relentless pressure to fire the Fed Chair for not lowering interest rates? Also Trump.

... because of the jailing of day laborers who worked for low wages? Trump's idea.

... because of insanely high levels of federal spending that skyrocket deficits and debt? Trump loves all that stuff.

Other countries aren't doing those things, so they have lower inflation.

A clean distinction. I don't really care that the said that. I'll definitely take the lower prices on everything.

They are indeed ranked highest, those busy little enslaved techies, but I was asking Sue who made hers. Which of them all is most likely on her desk? (She lives and works here I am told)
It is simply in response to her snide remark about corporations. In the scheme of things on the forum, she obviously means the rich corporations of the United States of America.
Yeah, I think I am right about that.
Why don’t we let her answer?? do you think it will be a straight up answer😆😆

There's zero difference in the amount of time it would take Iran to make a nuke before the war vs after the war. Experts agree on this.

I ain't scared of them. Iran has been working on this since the 1980s, and the rest of the world has by and large been successful at monitoring. They couldn't hurt us before the war, but they are hurting us a lot now. In other words, Iran is winning.

5) The US has not made the transition to being a manufacturing “superpower” as we were in the mid 20th century. Again Trump’s methods involve purely attacking and suppressing alternatives rather than encouraging more production.
In fact the decline in US manufacturing jobs has accelerated in the past year or so, with about 100,000 manufacturing jobs lost in 2025 alone (estimates vary from around 83,000 to 108,000).

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/manufacturing-jobs-whirlpool-layoffs-iowa-trump-tariffs/
[E]mployment data shows American manufacturers are continuing to cut jobs, with the U.S. shedding 83,000 manufacturing jobs during Mr. Trump's first year in office. Economists point to a range of factors for the job losses, including automation, long-standing headwinds from lower wages overseas to increased costs and economic uncertainty partially caused by the Trump administration's tariffs. Those import duties have hurt some U.S. manufacturers that rely on imported parts and goods to make their products domestically.

"Winning."

Or something...

Here's a tidbit from the "smallbusiness" subreddit. The OP:
Anyone else seeing a substantial decline in manufacturing in the US?

2025 was close to a record year. 2026 has to been a very down year so far. We are a distributor of industrial equipment and consumables. The company has been around since the 70s. I have owned it for 3.5 years. I don’t believe it’s anything we have done but it is very concerning at the moment.

A few replies:
Economy tanking and my understanding is a lot of our manufacturing is complex items that go between several countries and the US does their part and passes it along. One example is robotic manufacturing builds. My brother is an electrical engineer in this industry and basically all of their robotic components are imported. They assemble, program, and test the final product. A lot of their clients are looking elsewhere for anything that needs to leave the US bc of the tariff uncertainty.

This is the worst economy since 2008, have you seen what the numbers are? Not what the current administration is telling the public. Job loss, foreclosures, big companies filing bankruptcy, COVID hit us different and even the BIDEN era wasn't the greatest, but it was not this bad. It is so inconsistent, my company went from 8 figure a year annual revenue to a 1/3 of that last year and this year is not trending in the right direction. What people don't really understand is that the TARIFF wars have had effects on the global economy, the US trades with the rest of the world and it works in both directions (imports and exports). Now you throw in the war in the middle east, it's disrupting trade flowing that way even worst.

No shit Sherlock.

Lordy, lordy—so much winning.

It would be nice if someone here on the forum published a similar list that might be the platform of the Democratic Party? Not to influence such a response, but it would be silly to have one of the platforms be free stuff, as we know nothing is free. Trump was not about free stuff. It was about protecting America, such as that.
