I ain't scared of them. Iran has been working on this since the 1980s, and the rest of the world has by and large been successful at monitoring. They couldn't hurt us before the war, but they are hurting us a lot now. In other words, Iran is winning.

We've been here before, Joe, twice in recent history. Every Republican president always thinks this time will be different. It never is and won't be this time either. These wars aren't won by us. We're wasting money and ruining our credibility among allies.

Do you remember that marauder was saying at the outset that there has been no proof of uranium or nuclear development? Yet in the news today they say that there is! …. when they’re talking about the reasons that the war has not ended yet ‘because they will not give up their development of nuclear energy’. Point being that they are indeed nuclear maniacs.

It's not possible to prevail. The best, very best, case scenario is to put Obama's nuclear proliferation deal with Iran back into place. However, that's not something Iran is willing to do anymore because we keep bombing them during negotiations and ripping up deals we already signed.

Right. So this post is moot? So, the 'very best' is to follow the plan of the 77M throng thru their president, as he knocks off one promise after another. You see, I , ME, want him to do all that he is doing. So, you think is a failure 😆 (actually you sound socialist-horn that he is a failure) when you know he is doing a great job. You know he is doing right, but you have to say otherwise. Who are you scared of... Suzianne?
Here is an easy one. Was he right to lay off 300,000 fed employees, saving all that money? (Note the fed has suffered naught).

I thought the layoff should have been targeted at real redundancy, waste etc. and not cancer researchers. How'd he lay off all those people and still spend more money than Biden?

Every single program Trump has cancelled with the stated idea to "save money" was usually a good program started as a benefit to the American people, he's turned around to be "useless, totally useless" and cancelled it. This is the problem with his administration. Many of these programs people depend on, especially those with limited means. Some are of massive benefit to all people, such as attempts at reducing the effects of climate change.

This right here is also the danger of being so 'anti-woke' that you fall asleep on what is supposed to be your primary job of protecting Americans. "Anti-woke" is just an excuse to reduce YOUR benefits so that more money can be shoveled UP the hill to the rich.

Get a researcher like Marauder on that one. I am not a numbers man. But historically all presidents spend more than the last guy.

And you actually wonder why we call voting for Trump to be "voting against your best interests".

These people who voted for Trump will be in dire straits (along with all of us, unfortunately) once he cancels their retirement benefits like Social Security and Medicare. They paid in, but they actually voted to have that money taken away from them. Thus, "voting against their best interests".

He and Musk (in an unelected role) have laid off more like 800,000 fed workers, many of them the most experienced of government workers, those who actually know how to do those jobs. He "saved" that money, but we're all paying for it every time we call the SS office or the IRS, expecting help with our problem, and we get the 'run-around' dealing with them, because the ones that are left are much worse at their jobs. I will say it again. Besides ruining these people's lives by firing them before they reach retirement age, the only thing Trump has "accomplished" with this bone-headed move is to make the entire Federal government into his own image, inept, ineffective, inefficient and just plain "horrible". He has accomplished his dearest dream of making Federal government suck.

You were bragging about him laying off the workers and saving money. Now you want me to ask someone else? It's a fair question to ask how it's possible to save money and spend more money?

Normally, if workers are laid off, the idea is to reduce costs. It appears to me that these layoffs had nothing to do with that. Trump wanted to stop cancer research, not save money.
