America is a big country. I would imagine that a lot of states in our interior are to some extent deprived of their share of our wealthy economy because of distance from our coasts and a lack of high-speed internet -- and that politically it turns out to benefit some power-mongers to keep them so deprived.
Also, some currently active trends such as AI developments and medical advances -- probably leading to both increasing joblessness and life extension for many -- seem to be outpacing public-policy contemplations and discussions.
I don't have an answer, a conclusion, or a platform, but what do you think?
@my-king-and-i removed their quoted postYeah, sure -- and I'm thinking it would have to be adjusted according to living costs in each locale.
We already have the technology -- we could absolutely do this.
Maybe also a one-time moving allowance (also scaled) for those who might wish to relocate within the States.
