Who thinks America is a plutocracy? Post any feelings...towards or against ๐ ...
QED.
America is nothing like a Plutocracy because the level of social mobility is higher here than anywhere else in the world! Why do immigrants continue to flock to the shores of the world's last best hope? Because they have opportunities for building a better life here that they can only dream of in places like Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, China, South Korea, India, Viet Nam, Lebanon, Iran, Croatia, Poland, etc. As further proof that social mobility is not fixed, look at the Forbes list of richest Americans -- every year it changes because new people appear and others fall from the rankings. The list proves that hard work, drive and innovation will be rewarded in America. But don’t take my word for it, just ask Bill Gates or Warren Buffett if they think America is a Plutocracy.
