It's just the way dsr frame dit made it sound like they were kinda mutually exclusive which suprised me, as dsr is rarely wrong. 😛

somehow, the title of the thread "america is not a contitutional republic and a federation" would not have been quite as nice.

i meant that america is no longer democratic. i din't want to include in the title all the things america is or isn't because it would have been a pretty long title.
