It's a great continent!

How about an American constitution then?

It's called the Monroe Doctrine.

(We can interfere in the internal politics of any nation in our hemisphere, but if you Europeans and European spawned South Africans so interfere, we'll make problems for you.)

The Canadian provinces would be welcomed as States.

And they would accept that privilege about 20 years after hell freezes over...

As for the Mexicans -- hmmm. Nahhhh.

That Europeans should no longer colonize the New World? That's so terrible?

As for interference -- just what country in the WORLD do you imagine is not acting in their own self-interest!?!

That European nations -- authors of two World Wars, of the Inquistion, of Colonialism -- would suddenly pretend that they ONLY act out of selfless and altruistic motives...sorry, I've got to open a window. The hypocrisy is starting to make me gag.

Considering the different quality of living (according to what I hear) between Canada and the US, is it possible that the Canadians are thinking of the US citizens what the US citizens are thinking about Mexicans? "Those damn immigrants. Can't make their own country work so they have to come here and make a fuzz."

'Cause if it is like that, I can only marvel at the obvious irony of your statement. 😀

Ah, but they have evolved and become something much better, while we have devolved.

No, most of the Canadians are huddled within a hundred miles of the US border. It's not the company -- it's just warmer.
