The USA government really seem to be doing a terrible job of keeping the world peaceful and spreading "Democracy". The only thing they have accomplished is to make the world much more volatile and made many more enemies. But this time the "enemies" are not little minnows (mind you, Iraq has embarrassed the USA so far. Vietnam anyone?). North Korea, Iran, and they certainly aren't bonding very well with China and Russia at the moment. I wonder how long will they let Israel get away with doing whatever they want?
Anyway, as much as it saddens me I feel we are turning the corner on a very dangerous situation that will escalate out of control unless the USA government does the world right and just crawls under a rock for a while. After all, i think they (the US Govn.) would of learned by now that retaliation by force is quite archaic and simply does not solve anything.

And i'm not talking about the war on Iraq, Im talking about their war on terror.
Calling it the "War on Terror" was a stupid idea.
I saw Condy Rice in India commenting on the bombing there.
She was floundering a bit but managed to say "We stand with India in the War on Terror".
What? Is every terrorist suddenly one and the same now?
Apart from being Islamic (probably), the perpetrators of the Indian attacks are likely to be totally separate from Al Quaeda, but now they are all bunched together because of this "War on Terror".

What the hell has the Iraq war got to do with defending America anyway? I thought it was "operation Iraqi freedom".

The reality is that it's not a "War On Terror" but a struggle to get access to oil and sell more military equipment.

For example, we can't kill fools at a whim. We can't remove our enemies for being foolish. We just have to bight our tongue and take it from all sides.
It's an uneven fight. But that's the price of civilization.

Just what is the rest of the world doing to keep itself peaceful? Nothing? No not nothing, they are blaming the US instead of helping out.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. 😕
