Here is an interesting article about the state of affairs of the US media. Basically the author has concluded that a free press no longer exists in the states. I love the last paragraph.

"Consider the fascinating perspective of the recently deceased Boris Berezoisky, once the most powerful of the Russian oligarchs and the puppet master behind President Boris Yeltsin during the late 1990's. After looting billions in national wealth and elevating Vladimir Putin to the presidency, he overreached himself and eventually went into exile. According to the New York Times, he had planned to transform Russia into a fake two-party stateone social-democratic and one neoconservativein which heated public battles would be fought on divisive, symbolic issues, while behind the scenes both parties would actually be controlled by the same ruling elites. With the citizenery thus permanently divided and popular dissatisfaction safely channeled into meaningless dead-ends. Russian rulers could maintain unlimited wealth and power for themselves, with little threat to their reign."

Gee, I wonder where he got that idea. 😲

Fox News is the lone bastion against this metastization.

Notice that Snowden did not go to Fox news.

I will never forget how all the major news networks treated Ron Paul. Even when he was leading at the beginning, both Fox news and CNN and all the rest either ignored him completely or they treated him as though he were a loon. I think that Fox news is merely part of the game both parties play with right vs. left where all they do is mud sling.

It stands to reason that any news source critical of the current regime in power will have better ratings. That is the part of the conundrum. How do you be critical to get ratings and at the same time be controlled by that same regime? I think Fox news does a pretty good job in that respect. They seem to have your blind trust.

When are you all going to realize that there is no left and right anymore?

There is very little difference now between the parties.
They are all tied in to the same elitist rich global corporations
that donate money to their coffers.

In Britain and Ireland it is much the same.
There is very little difference between Labour and
    the Conservatives in Britain.

Here in Ireland no one seems to be able to tell the difference
anymore between Fianna Fail and Fine Gael. Even our Labour
Party the alleged political representative of the ordinary worker
has moved so close to the centre that they too have abandoned
    their ideals.

It will all boil down to the haves and the have nots.
They have and you don't and that is the way it has been
for decades. Nothing will change it. Any leftist politician
who tries to rock the boat will be silenced or dealt with by
attempting to destroy any credibility that they have.
