I'm pretty certain without the 9/11 attack and the deaths of their husbands you would have never heard a peep out of those 4 women. Their husbands DIED for god's sake. Of course they're going to get involved in politics. And of course they'll have an agenda.

It's very simple (as it must be) to the right wingers: IF you have a family member killed in a war and you agree with the government and say everything that the government wants you to, you are patriotic American grieving for your terrible loss. If you have a family member killed in a war and you disagree with the government and say anything critical about the government (assuming it is a right wing government), all you care about is promoting yourself and your dead family member would hate you for being so un-American.
