Another Chinese Scandal - Melamine in Food?

Why anyone would risk buying anything from China these days is beyond me.

How much more proof do people want?

Putting melamine in milk because it's cheaper? Buy Local.

It's crazy.

These days I actually check to see where everything I buy is made. Especially Chinese products are a no go.
I must have been the only person I know who checked before his baby went onto formula two months ago whether it was made in China. Now I see everyone checking before they put it in their baskets...

When will a few cents not be the only deciding factor when deciding on outsourced manufacturing?
