Oh..wait...if it was a white player that sucker-punched a black referee, there'd be headlines and demonstrations for a month with 24/7 coverage and Hate-Crime charges being brought. Al Sharpton would be there demanding a congressional committee .

No, there wouldn't be; these types of incidents are depressingly common now and usually nothing more than local stories.

There is one race, the human race.
Humanity comes in different colours and sizes and shapes.

"Racism" is the popular word for the condition suffered by individuals who think that only their own colour, size and shape is valid and acceptable. It shows a lack of knowledge and understanding well as a lack of character and moral compass. Which is why "racists" are not considered to be decent people.
