It gives some emotional shock value but it kinda depends what weapon was used. Two wounded adults is not a massacre.
The shooting was in a school.
It does not matter if children were involved or not.
It does not matter if there was only one person, two persons

The fact of the matter is if it was more difficult
for people to get guns then this kind of situation
would happen less frequently.
