Your doubts are noted. How about this story:

"Swimming caps designed for natural hair by a Black-owned brand will not be allowed at the Olympics."

https://www.yahoo.com/news/athletes-not-allowed-wear-swim-200236994.html

Richardson was punished by the US team in excess of what the Olympics ruled. Their explanation of why is weak.

Cannabis is legal and it is not a performance enhancer. The whole thing is silly and unfair. All the excuses for penalizing her are super lame.

Universities, unlike ignorant internet posters like yourself, surely know the advantages that diversity grants their students and surely know that societal obstacles including systemic racism warp the gaining of "credentials" (which should not be confused with "ability" ). They are a bit more of experts in this field than you are.

By contrast, Olympic officials have ze ...[text shortened]... em. That is "hypocritical" and based on outmoded personal moral values that have no place in sports.
Anyone in our society who uses race to allocate benefits is a racist and their behavior should be condemned. This includes Universities. There should be no presumption of wisdom for Universities which are so wise that they continually hire doctors which molest athletes (see Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State), cover up rapes, sexual assault and even murder (Baylor) etc.
Drugs are certainly a problem in our society. The Olympics sensibly decided not to shrink its list of banned substances. While I'll concede the Olympics are similarly corrupt at least they won't listen to you and they enforce their own rules.

Perhaps the USADA is (over?)confident that it can win the 4 X100 meter women's relay without their best sprinter; it is typically an event the US has dominated and the country has won the last two Olympic golds.

Their explanation of why Richardson was excluded from an event she would have been allowed to compete in even with the suspension was long on platitudes but short on reasoning.

Like most right wing trolls here, you don't know what the word "racist" means.

I grant universities a presumption of what is best for their students over ignorant blowhards like yourself.

I don't grant the Olympics committee any presumption that they are gatekeepers of morality for the United States.

I didn’t make the rules.
The rules are: no cannabis.

Whether it is a good rule or not, holding people to it is not racist. That’s the only point I’m making.

I, personally, couldn’t care less if someone smokes pot (or snorts cocaine for that matter). I don’t even watch sports (unless it’s nude female tennis or something).

(Shrug) The US team ran the fastest time in history in the 2012 Olympics and the second fastest time in history in the 2016 Olympics. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athletics_at_the_2016_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women%27s_4_%C3%97_100_metres_relay

Your mindless explanation is laughable. Universities can favor minorities of the majority despite any reason interpretation of equal rights or evaluation of credentials because you like the results. The Olympics should be condemned for enforcing race neutral anti drug rules because you don't like the result. Thankfully you don't get to decide everything and the Olympics can take place with one less drug user.

Personally, I don’t see why drug users should be banned from competing.

What should be done is: if you get caught using drugs, 30 minutes before the next sporting event you get given a heroic dose of LSD and you have to compete naked.

The Tour de France and the high-jump would be hilarious!
