I think its illegal from the "public indecency" point of view namely kids could see.

It's like watching your parents have sex...apparently... 😕

Basically, it involves meeting random strangers at a pre-arranged place (isolated car parks are a favourite I believe) and watching other couples go at it, with the possibiltity of joining in.
