The biggest single act of terrorism (measured by the number of deaths) recorded against british interests wasn't carried out by the IRA, or by Al Quaeda, but by the zionist terrorists in the 1940s when the bombed a hotel in Tel Aviv.
Can't be bothered to look up the specifics, but close to 100 deaths in one incident.
