It's not looking good for that poor girl. Sadly, young women tend to get themselves in dangerous positions like these all the times. Just recently a friend of a friend was raped at an after-hours club being in a spot where she should have never been in the first place! She was well old enough to know the danger she was putting herself in. Don't trust ANYBODY!
I don't agree with you.
Walking around in fear the whole day is not any way to live your life.

Obviously some sense is called for, but not to trust ANYBODY is paranoid.

I suppose "anybody" was a bit too extreme. It's definitely foolish to walk around scared your whole life. Just be smart. Don't put yourself in any sordid positions with people you don't know and don't be naive in trusting complete strangers. Especially if you're a woman/girl.

Slimjim, I get the feeling from watching this thread stagnate that nobody on RHP is thinking of Aruba at all. Perhaps it's because it was an American girl who vanished.
it's a drop in the bucket compared to national statistics ...

Yes, but this already involves a Dutch judge and his son. Those Dutch, always causing trouble. First they join the French in scuttling the EU constitution and now this. And this is just the tip of the iceberg, I've heard that the most dangerous secretly live in "the sewers of Holland."
