Prosecutors such as Robert Mueller have to produce solid evident to backup their claims of wrongdoing. In the 14 months since Mueller was assigned the duty of special counsel, he has produced 22 people and companies charged, 75 criminal charges brought so far, numerous indictments of Russian military personal, 5 guilty pleas, 1 person sentenced. Donald Trump however has produced nothing to back up his claims of a witch hunt, yet his followers swallow his stories as if they're listening to the sermon on the mount. As Mueller closes in, Trump's wailings have become more erratic and disconnected. Now Trump is tweeting:
Is Robert Mueller ever going to release his conflicts of interest with respect to President Trump, including the fact that we had a very nasty & contentious business relationship, I turned him down to head the FBI (one day before appointment as S.C.) & Comey is his close friend..
Earth to Donald: Mueller already headed the FBI for 12 years.
Now even Sean Spicer and congressional republicans is breaking with Trump on his witch hunt story
Have we caught a dirty one? Is Donald standing alone? Is he painting testimonial pictures? Oh, oh oh oh oh. Yeah, I think so. π

Maybe SOME of the madness can end. After T gets the axe, we have to deal with Pence, but come November, maybe there will be a reversal of fortune for Democrats and Pence will be a lame duck, with some dame luck, and become another pile in the dust bin of history along with Trump. And a real person in SCOTUS.

How many indictments against an American citizen has the venerable Robert Mueller produced for actual election interference?
Zero.
Indictments against Russian military officers? For, what precisely? For running an intelligence operation against the United States? I live outside of DC. By Mueller’s standard, which you seem to accept without challenge, many people I interact with, and the vast majority of northern Virginia, should be under indictment in Russia. You honestly accept the indictment of a Russian military officer for doing their job, on their soil?
Logical fallacy: “Donald Trump has produced nothing to back up his claims of a witch hunt...” Three problems here: first, in the United States, you are innocent until proven guilty. Second, President Trump has been told repeatedly that he is not a target of the investigation. Third: the very fact that Robert Mueller has investigated him for fifteen months and not been able to charge him or even produce a report detailing impeachable offenses is proof of the witch hunt.
I’m being nice, now. You be nice too.

Originally posted by @kazetnagorraI hear it will be 54 counts soon. Mueller has identified someone on Trump's campaign staff that never paid the fee to his high school library for returning a book 2 days late. Impeachment is a foregone conclusion now.
