-Removed-We need one of them ‘Joe 90’ machines that’ll soften the edges. I would observe that right wing views are, if not, inherently more violent, certainly more prone to eliciting violent outcomes. But then I am quite left wing myself.
Perhaps violent personalities tend to gravitate to the right rather than the left. Although there are exceptions to any rule.

2) You're a human just like me...violence is a part of your nature, just like mine and every other human on this god forsaken planet. You think you are holier than thou? A part of some kind of superior race? When push comes to shove your own violent nature will be exposed. There is a little Stalin in everyone.
-Removed-Yep, i am as bad as trumpists. Thinking that maybe a derranged woman getting killed while actively assaulting THE government building is her own damn fault is just as bad as assaulting a government building with the intent of taking government officials hostages because i think the popular vote is inconsequential and my guy should remain in power.
You would do well to take your head out of your ass, perhaps.
@kevcvs57 saidDude he just called "extremists" both someone who actively joined an act of terrorism and someone who commented on her being a terrorist.

You really think at this point both sides really need "softening the edges"? Can you think of the last time "leftists" stormed a government building to intimidate and take hostage elected officials?
@joe-shmo saidI think I conceded that but given that right wing philosophy tends to focus more on tribalism and race as recruiting sergeants then it seems obvious that it’s more likely to have violent outcomes given that most of us live in multicultural societies, in the west that is.

Historically there have been some horrendously violent campaigns carried out under the flag of left wing politics. But it’s not inherent in the philosophy. You can make a society more left wing in terms of its political economy without violence but you cannot make a society more white or less Jewish say without resorting to some level of violence, I would categorise forced expulsion as a form of violence with ethnic cleansing being at the extreme end of that spectrum.
@zahlanzi saidYeah that was a jokey reference to dives comment,

“ see if you can curb it through taking a more centrist mindfulness course perhaps.”
which to be fair is probably lost on a non Brit.
But no I do not think the violent cancer at the heart of US politics is a left wing one.
@kevcvs57 saidgood, the joke didn't come across as such, that's why I asked
