I'm deliberately using the right-wing NY Post so there's no accusations of bias:

A letter by Trump's attempted assassin was found, which was written months before he was arrested:

Ryan Wesley Routh penned chilling note targeting Donald Trump months before arrest: ‘Trump is unfit to be anything’

"This was assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you,” the letter read.

“I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.”

God knows I'm trying to avoid conspiracies....but why would the would-be assassin write a letter of failure *months before* the attempt?

It's odd enough that Routh somehow knew Trump would be there despite this fact not being in Trump's public itinerary. He actually knew about 12 hours ahead time and laid in wait. Now we find out that he prepared a letter months in advance apologizing for failing to kill to Trump?

And why didn't the shooter wear his bullet-proof vest that he brought him? Attempting to kill a former president running for reelection is a sure way to die, isn't it? On top of everything he didn't even fire a single shot....

I don't wanna be the conspiracy guy....but none of this is strange to anyone?

it’s the corrupt feds way of keeping him under their control. Our own govt is behind trying to eliminate Trump.

He did not commit any federal crimes.

Florida has the far more serious crime of attempted murder.

Our fed govt agencies have become worse than any mob ever thought about being.

With this note they now have a reason to hold on to him. Have you researched his previous activity? A supposed carpenter traveling the world. He is a CIA asset.

I doubt the plan was to eliminate Trump. Routh wrote a letter months before already conceding failure.

He also offers a reward, meaning he fully expected not killing Trump and being alive to offer it.

A traitor like you calling our government traitorous. Hilarious.
