You are the captain of an American Aircraft Carrier. You are at sea and you are told a pandemic is active in the port you are headed into.
Do you allow shore leave or do you require everyone to remain on ship?
Of course even going into that port is idiotic. The ship should have been resupplied at sea or at a US base like Guam.

The navy sec. was a Trump appointee and an ACTING one at that. Trump LOVES acting chiefs because he doesn't have to do that pesky senate approval thing.
That way he gets his yes man sycophants who jump to his every command no matter HOW stupid and there have been hundreds of stupid decisions by Trump, for instance, ignoring all the best advice very early on, like in fukking JANUARY but totally ignored it and now we have 16,000 headed for 20,000 deaths and that is 100% on Trump's hands.
If he had taken the advice in January we would have had less than 1/10th of the deaths but your god king can do no wrong so here we are. And the shyte has yet to hit the fan in his base states AND it is not going to magically go away come summer, that has already been proven in the southern hemisphere where it is summer right now and the death count has not slowed down one iota so forget having it magically go away like your god Trump says, June, goodbye C19. Just another showing of his absolute stupidity in terms of listening to experts, whether military, industrial, moral, medical, political, he listens to NOBODY.
