The captain of the Roosevelt, Brett Crozier, sent copies of his plea to people outside the chain of command, which is how the story was leaked in the first place. As far as I am concerned, he screwed up royally and deserves to be fired.

But I see Trump intervened

At least the mislead right-wingers here defend the honor of our country. One would think that all veterans would. They may be idiots. But they're OUR idiots.

Kissing an enemy's ass is very trumpian.

Americans have always had disagreements with each other. This will not change.

But, trying to be "friends" with an enemy who's only interest is the disparagement of our nation is at best, naive. At worst, collaborative.

he went up the chain of command _and_ beyond that. He dispatched the message to too many people.

He went outside his chain of command. That is not acceptable behavior in the US military.


If you want to go outside your chain of command you resign your commission and do so as a civilian.
