Kissing an enemy's ass is very trumpian.
Americans have always had disagreements with each other. This will not change.
But, trying to be "friends" with an enemy who's only interest is the disparagement of our nation is at best, naive. At worst, collaborative.

he went up the chain of command _and_ beyond that. He dispatched the message to too many people.
