Lots of that chit coming from the south are facing far more danger in their country of origin than rand ever faced so that is a non argument.
Rand could’ve / should’ve gone to her nearest place of safety which would’ve been Western Europe but she came to your country as an illegal economic migrant looking for a better life, it’s you that has an issue with that motivation so why does rand get a pass.

Rand answered that question regarding immigration in 1973 which was a bit after the "welfare state" was created in most advanced countries. In fact, even the right wing, laissez faire US Libertarian Party supports "open borders" NOW:

I found it interesting that such a right wing icon would use illegal and dishonest means to procure her entry and continued stay in the US and wondered what right wingers would have to say about it. The "rule of law" they often crow about seems to be of no matter in this case.

Rand herself, of course, believed in "open borders" and in "rational self-interest" so lying to obtain entry into the US was no big deal for her.

Rand was an opportunist. Why does this story of her entry into the land of opportunity surprise me not in the least?
