New NPR poll has more bad news for Democrats

Based on recent polling, I'd say that GOP chances for re-taking the House have now eclipsed 40%. Intrade agrees. As of now, HOUSE.REP.2010 is trading at 45.4

It sounds strange to say that the Republicans' chances are so strong when they have to swing more than 40 seats, but if you look at the numbers, district by district, the chances could be over 50%

I say only 40% because I think that if the economy improves in the third quarter, Obama and the Dems will get much stronger.

it doesn't really have to improve. they just have to frame the lie carefully enough that people think it HAS improved.

that will be more difficult now that the media's not on board.
