Let us suppose that there is SOME medical link between brain cancer and steroid use as claimed in the obit. Should cigarette smoking be banned because it "causes" lung cancer? Or alcohol because it "causes" cirrhosis?

Having "Big Mommy" tell grown ups what to do with their own bodies is anathema to the principles of a free nation.

You are of course correct, but it was late.

Go ahead and present a case for banning steroids or any drug for that matter in a country created for the primary purpose of protecting human liberty.
I will at some point, but I am busy typing long lists at work. I'm just surprised virtually no one else has taken the bait, and those that have had done a pretty feeble job so far.

Looks like he couldn't even last one post. The need to talk about NAMBLA was just too overwhelming for his confused mind.

He's talking about allowing steroid use in professional sport... and no one can rise to the challenge? He compares steroid use to corrective eye surgery and no one bats an eyelid?

C'mon, someone, do it for him. Before he does a Caligula.

I've had the argument with him before. Now it's your turn.

Maguire shouldn't be allowed in either, he cheated as well. Bonds' records should be stricken, as should Maguire's, and yes, the whole of the last ten years should be eliminated from baseball's record books.
Can guys take a Tylenol if they have a headache or should that be banned because Babe Ruth didn't have access to that medical technology?

No. Tylenol is banned. Death penalty for consumption or possession, no trial, summary execution.
You Philly fans are rough; no wonder you booed Mike Schmidt.

What an idiotic statement! The season's a whole two weeks old. Do you know anything about sports and in particular baseball at all?
Woody Paige said something extremely similar to my previous statement on ESPN two days ago on Cold Pizza. To your last point, I have been following professional baseball since I was little.
