when i said equally degrading i did exaggerate a little if you haven't noticed. and i didn't say beauty pageants degrade all women, just the ones who enter the show. it has absolutely no meaning but to display ones view of beauty which is by no means universal.

They are asked the most idiotic questions and then they are asked to perform like trained monkeys in front of thousands. And most of them have "talents" like singing, dancing, singing, acting, singing again in short talents required for a housewife entertaining her guests.
If at any point in the future a woman makes it to final 10 and her talent is to dismantle a truck engine and put it back together in 10 minutes or to demonstrate on a blackboard a nice quantum physics theory i will apologize to you and to all who think pageants are not degrading to women.

the poem suggest that at anytime in the future i should lower my standards to a more acceptable level. that can be quite wrong, being happy in mediocrity. or what if i am a criminal or a homeless person. should i be the best homeless guy i can?
beauty queens may not look evil or scary (they look quite hot i agree as a male sovinistic pig that i am). But the concept of them is horrible. we have a woman that must conform in absolutely every aspect to a way of life imposed by a roup of people. No alcohol no smoking, no hamburgers, no wearing a skull t-shirt, no appearing without makeup in public, wearing that silly looking crown etc. it was funny when miss america fell on her buns on stage because beauty queens cannot fall, they are the models of perfect grace and poise.
we need women who can cure cancer(we also need men who can cure cancer but that is another issue). we need women who can be lawyers, scientists, medics, tehnicians, pilotsm, engineers. we don't need no decorative objects.
