Thank you for your replies. TBH I didn't think you would come up with any examples, but I'm pleasantly surprised that you did.

Poor Oxford graduate.
Poor, poor Oxford graduate.
Just like Michelle Obama, no matter how high they go in life, they always gotta whine and cry about how bad they have it.
What the hell are you even talking about?

Because you buy into their paranoia that whites are far more oppressed than PoC?

Anything to legitimize their racism.

When did anyone ever say that?

Because he said he's "pleasantly surprised" you came up with an example. That would be because he already believed that whites were more oppressed and just wanted to hear agreement with his preconceived ideas. That's why all the white-supremacists here agree with each other, they reinforce each other's racism.

"But I never said I was a racist." No one ever does. They make s*** up like calling it "culture" instead of race, so they don't get busted for being a racist, and yet they can dog-whistle their racist tropes to each other all day long.

Isn't that why you posted the links? To help promote your lame-brained idea that whites are more oppressed than PoC? Well, he's "pleasantly surprised" that you posted links to press your case.

Of course not. Unfortunately white privilege is real, as is systemic, institutional racism.

People can and will cherry-pick to try to "prove" it's not, but it obviously is. I'm surprised this is even a debate in America.

The only "institutional and systemic" racism I see is directed against whites.

yes, I can cite several of those.
But, lets be fair and give sluzy a chance to post one, just on instance of what see is talking about. I know she is not just parroting what the lib msm is saying.

I think it is either paranoid or just plain rude to attribute beliefs to other people.

Catholic Irish in the UK in the 70’s and 80’s were more oppressed than poc in the UK.

The Jews… weren’t they white? No oppression there?

Protestants in France?

This constant banging on about “the white man’s world” is ridiculous.
It’s the world of the ruling classes. Always has been. And in the West they are white. Correct.
And that has nothing to do with most white people from Liverpool, Glasgow, Rotterdam, Dusseldorf or Lyon. They too do not inhabit the ruling classes.

Being white and male in a #twitter world… pffff…

My point is, poc aren’t the only people being oppressed.
And especially in Europe. We have a long tradition of oppressing and murdering anybody who doesn’t fit the whims of the time. To suggest Europeans are particularly opposed to poc or Jews or moslims or gays or Catholics or protestants or French or Germans, etc. Ad infinitum, is not doing Europeans any justice at all.

And the blame lies, for the most part, by the people in power. And that, I’m afraid, isn’t the majority of white people. No matter how you try to frame it.
