Looks like Suzi is unable to give an example of her claim.

The simple fact that, because you're white, you don't see non-whites being subjected to racism every day.

But then you have an agenda, don't you?

Let me be as clear as I can to someone as affected by white privilege as you.

Non-white people experience racism, mainly from white people, typically every day of their lives (unless they're isolated, by location or income status). That you, a white person, do not see this, because you can't be bothered, or because Tucker Carlson says it doesn't exist, is a prime example of the existence of widespread, systemic, institutional racism in this country.

The only "institutional and systemic" racism I see is directed against whites.
That racism, as weak as it is, is on an individual basis, not widespread in the society that whites, as the majority race, control. Systemic, institutional racism cannot exist against whites, because whites control the system and the institutions. God, your ignorance is the only reason I'm having to explain this.

Still no example, just statement of belief.

I think it is either paranoid or just plain rude to attribute beliefs to other people.
That's because you are blinded by white privilege.

It's like I'm talking to kittens about space travel.

Catholic Irish in the UK in the 70’s and 80’s were more oppressed than poc in the UK.

The Jews… weren’t they white? No oppression there?

Protestants in France?

This constant banging on about “the white man’s world” is ridiculous.
It’s the world of the ruling classes. Always has been. And in the West they are white. Correct.
And that has nothing to do with most w ...[text shortened]... yon. They too do not inhabit the ruling classes.

Being white and male in a #twitter world… pffff…
In America, white men ARE the "ruling class". Come on, make the mental leap.

Apparently, I'm not clear enough for the redneck bible-thumping crowd.

Do you ever tire of posting your massive ignorance?

Can't you understand anything?

I usually find Andrew Sullivan too long-winded, but I did like this piece of his on Critical Race Theory and how it has infected the liberal bubble to detrimental effect:

https://andrewsullivan.substack.com/p/what-happened-to-you-e5f

Excerpt:

"In the successor ideology, there is no escape, no refuge, from the ongoing nightmare of oppression and violence — and you are either fighting this and “on the right side of history,” or you are against it and abetting evil. There is no neutrality. No space for skepticism. No room for debate. No space even for staying silent. (Silence, remember, is violence — perhaps the most profoundly anti-liberal slogan ever invented.)

"And that tells you about the will to power behind it. Liberalism leaves you alone. The successor ideology will never let go of you. Liberalism is only concerned with your actions. The successor ideology is concerned with your mind, your psyche, and the deepest recesses of your soul. Liberalism will let you do your job, and let you keep your politics private. S.I. will force you into a struggle session as a condition for employment."

Bible thumping? Where did I mention the Bible in this thread.

Looks like you are just attempting to change the subject. Face it, you have no support for your claim.

So is your post about class, race or gender? Because it would seem that any woman would be disadvantaged as this woman was in the old boys club of advertising.

To be able to know what messages the average punter would respond to, is more than understanding psychology and brand messaging. Its about knowing the minutiae of culture. Being able to opine about the cricket or the football or whether the car to buy should be a Ferrari or a Porsche are all part of a myriad signalling system that says you fit in. So while the article points to class and the ability to fit into white middle class values (homophily) as being determinants to success in this domain, the article underlines her gender and skin colour as being the problem. Very illogical.

No. The ruling class is about 5% of US society.
That still makes for a very large group of white coloured sheep who have no or very little influence on anything but their immediate surroundings.

These people can’t be blamed for slavery, wars, poverty or anything you can’t blame other colours for.

To do so ignorning poverty (financial, cultural or otherwise) to suit a niche agenda of anti-racist activisim.
Yes. There is racism. Nobody is denying that. But to blame all white people is just as racist and stupid. And it’s denying you the oppertunity to see the real problems within society and make effectual changes.

Arrogance, pretension and self aggrandisement, meet narcism, bullying and ad hominem.

Do those qualities intersect in anyone we know?
