Americans slept these past decades and are just now realizing they have a right and far -right wing main 2 parties. (and you only have 2 relevant political parties to begin with).
It's time to wake up and realize the democratic party has long been hijacked and turned into Republican lite, a weak crap golem meant to lose to republicans on every issue. It's time to pay attention and support real progressives and try to salvage what is left of the democrats.
Pelosi has to go. Schumer has to go. Every weak/corrupt democrat has to go.

You fight trump and then the system that spawned Trump exactly by serving the interests of the people, not the interests of the democratic party and their donors. Not by appeasing republicans and trying to meet them half way. What you're advocating is exactly what Clinton did : "Trump is awful, you HAVE to vote for me because i am not that awful". How did that work out for you? People stayed at home or voted for Trump.

There is no meeting republicans half way. There is no working with republicans on any subject except those that benefit the wealthiest americans. There is no acceptable halfway between having healthcare and not having healthcare. There is no acceptable halfway between going into foreign wars and not going into foreign wars. "How about if republicans want a war into Iran we make a compromise and give them half a war in Iran". How about you only invade Venezuela a little. Just the tip.
If they want unity, they can have it. Under progressive agenda. They don't get to hold the country hostage and just be slightly better than the worst.
