Let's not forget Satan also uses rock and roll music to tempt people.

RB, is it true that Lucifer was actually the angel of music before he was cast down into hell with his army of fallen angels?

I know that in general, his strategy is temptation and deceit, but does he have more specific tactics that I need to keep an eye out for? I know that offering forbidden fruit is one, so I'll be sure to ask for guidance before chomping into my next apple. Can you give me some other specific tricks that he uses?

Dr. S
stress can be one trick he uses. When you are not a Christian you have your weakness of drugs or what not. And when you come to Jesus he will heal you of that weakness. So say if you are stressing out and not praying Satan, maybe not him but his demons can tempt you to do drugs. And I say his demons because Satan can't be every where at once like God can.

The Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust. So just like it can have a Tsunami on the just and unjust.
Edit: He loves everyone because He died for all even when He didn't have to Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
So let's get this straight. God's love of Tsunami victims is demonstrated by:

(a) First, sending the Tsunami to devastates their lives;

(b) Second, supplying them (via human intervention) with limited quantities of "feed" so they don't starve.

Suppose a terrorist--a plate tectonic technician gone bad--created a Tsunami. Then, suppose he sent the ravaged survivors some food.

Would you characterize the terrorist's behaviour, overall, as reflecting *love*?

Straight answer please.

Given that God and Jesus are technical one person, according to some, feel free to substitute terms as desired.

The Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust. so it probably means when it comes your time you might want to have your sins forgiven.

Edit: first of a torrist did not do that. Second God did that you know the divel didnt do that. But the devil did 9/11 and God aloud it, but I know deep down He didn't want it.

LOL! I love Bible Studies!

RBHILL, can you try to explain this in more detail, how you can distinguish which disasters come from God, and which come from the Devil. And if God deep down didn't want 9/11, either the Devil overpowered Him, or God chose to let it happen, which is effectively the same as God causing it since He had the power to stop it.

How about natural disasters come from God, and anything that involve humans that is evil is from Satan.

But God has the power to stop them all, doesn't He? In this sense, they all come from God, because they have to pass through his decision to veto before they can take place.

Couldn't the Devil use lack of stress as a tactic as well? If you have no stress, you might tend to become lazy and idle. Sloth is a deadly sin.

all sin is deadly because it keep you out of a relationship with God. Truly the only deadly sin is rejecting Jesus. Yes Satan can tempt you when you are lazy. Some times I go play Madden 2004 instead of do home work or read my bible.

I'll be damned. I never considered John Madden a tool of Satan.

I hate the game, I am doing a season as the Texans and I am 4-6. but I started out 1-4. But during college semesters I play 2 days a month. But I play it a lot with my friends in the summer. But that is no fun because I always win, the Computer is more of a challange.

RB, why are there no games about Satan and God. It seems to me that for someone like you there should be a lucrative market for this kind of stuff. Something like "Jesus- San Andreas." Or maybe "Revelation Time."

God didn't want it but did it anyway. Sounds schizophrenic. Almost human, hmmm.
Actually earthquakes can be caused by humans. Nikolai Tesla built an earthquake machine and caused an earthquake in Manhattan.
