Does this make you folks proud? It does not make me proud, it makes me sad.

Because you like mass killing?

The military should be used for defense of the nation when necessary; it shouldn't be an "instrument of national power".

It's a decent start.
Why does America need to be armed to the teeth ?

I thought you lauded Trump for exactly the same policy, militaries should always be a last ditch survival thing, not part of the negotiation team.

It makes me a lot more proud than attacking gold star families because they're Muslim, and calling war heros like John McCain "losers" because they were captured in a war our beloved President chickened out of because he's a draft dodging coward. 😏

The GOP is full of armchair generals who are always hot to "send in the Marines" --as long as someone else puts their life on the line besides them.

I cannot be proud of having a military presence in 150 countries. Sorry, Joe.
I cannot be proud of making people all over the world tremble in fear. Sorry, Joe.

There is nothing wrong with a strong military in and of itself. The real problem is, the military is under the direction of very evil people, and that is what I fear and object to the most, and there is NO WAY FOR US THE PEOPLE TO CHANGE IT.

20 years in Afghanistan Joe. And we don't even know why.

A former president of yours, in his final speech, warned you not to let the military industrial complex get too big.

The US’s military spending is bizarre. And the only way to justify it is to keep on waging wars.

Time to spend spend some of this trillions on more constructive peojects, me thinks.

LMAO!

If you glance at the US Constitution, you'll see that the President is Commander in Chief of the United States armed forces.

Donald Trump has had that job for more than 3 years and 10 months. At any point, he could have ordered US troops out of Afghanistan, Iraq or virtually any other of the more than 150 countries they are deployed in.

It should.
Biden is going to allow Russia and China to rule the world because they have no problem using their military as an instrument of national power.
He's going to appease the hell out of them (getting rich off of kickbacks from them that are funneled through his son).
