If you think Bush, Obama and McCain all would have reacted the same way, then what's the big
deal with Obama's experience (which was comparable with Bush's, if not better)?
I, of course, think that both McCain and Obama wouldn't have lied to the American people to
encourage the engaging of an irrelevant country in war.
Either experience is an issue for you, or it's not. Either way, Bush was woefully inexperienced and
his following of Rumsfeld's advice to make Iraq the focal point of the anti-terrorist movement
was the product of this inexperience. As a consequence, the terrorist movement has gained
ground and support, Bin Laden is still alive and scaring the crap out of people, and we remain
committed in an Iraq that is so unstable, no matter what we do, it will dissolve into Civil War.
I wish more than you know that McCain had been President these past eight years rather than
Bush. I think he's 20 times the politician that Bush is.
