This is almost hysterically stupid. About a month before its collapse Biden said to Ghani that there was a perception that the Afghan army was doing badly and "whether it was true or not" that Afghan's leaders should announce a new military strategy.

Apparently, it is now a necessity to announce during war time the exact strength of your forces vis a vis the enemy's o ...[text shortened]... wing rule would be very convenient for the military planning of the enemy and obviously much fairer.
