@kmax87 saidDid you leave something out, what is your mantra of control, so we can discuss. Please tell me you will not tread on my space or on my possessions or on my family or on what I do day to day, that you will not control me, tell me what stove to cook on.
This about sums up most right wing snivelling on everything from infrastructure spend, renewable energy focus, transformation of fossil fuel transportation and climate change mitigation.
The right wing mantra should read, my right to be backward.
So, bring it.

@averagejoe1 saidControlled to have services. Not controlled to remain impoverished by the GOP mantra that Government is the problem, so rob the poor to keep the rich richer.

How has Biden transformed it?

Do you mean crippled it?
@kmax87 saidThe democrats rob from the poor to help the rich, especially Biden. He is actually a right winger. He has always been if you examine his record in congress.

@kmax87 saidThe problem is that most "conservatives"* do not understand that you cannot have it your way all the time in a democracy. There has to be compromise. This is something that is supposed to be learned in childhood, but civics education has been on the decline in the US for decades. We see now the result.

* I do not believe there are many genuine conservatives anymore. "Privatize everything" is as radical an idea as collectivization, if not more so.

@averagejoe1 saidEver check out residential housing codes? There are quite a few things you cannot do to your own home, even if you are renovating it yourself. You are not allowed to use lead pipes. Automatic garage doors must have sensors installed that detect an obstruction. You cannot remove the smoke detectors. There are literally thousands of things on the list. Even building a brick barbecue in your backyard may require a permit.

Merely living in a society puts innumerable strictures on what you can and cannot do. Most of it (at least 99.9% I'd say) is well out of Biden's control.

Makes the 50 permanent jobs the Keystone Pipeline would have maintained look rather insignificant, doesn't it? https://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/3801339-energy-department-keystone-xl-cancellation-cost-jobs-but-its-consumer-impacts-couldnt-be-measured/

@mott-the-hoople saidThat seems about right. Trump spent $7.8 TRILLION deficit,.so now unfortunately we've gotta pay the bills.

@no1marauder saidWhy do you write off some posts by saying, well, that is insignificant? You Said it about the half-a-trillion that you people want to give to college graduates to pay their bills, it is only $500B. Weird. It is either wasteful or bad business, or it is not, Marauder. Biden ruined a lot of lives and your economy with the pipeline.
