The post that was quoted here has been removedTrying to discredit any disagreement with a woman's point of view by claiming "mansplaining" is a pathetic strategy.
Mahdawi mentions Harris' being the first black and Asian Vice-President right before the comment I cited. Obviously, her comments regarding Harris are at odds with her refusal to treat Flournoy's appointment as some vindication of feminist ideals.
Again:
""Whatever happens next, Harris’s vice-presidency will make history. She will be the first black American and the first Asian American to hold the country’s second highest office. It is hard to overstate how powerful that is after four years of Trump."
Why is not Flournoy's appointment to what has been traditionally considered a male area not also "powerful"?
