There have been many a wayward liberals in here that swear that the number of immigrants that came into
America during Bidens admin was less than during Trump's admin. let's look,.
NY Times: Biden’s Migration Wave Is ‘The Largest in U.S. History’
“The immigration surge of the past few years has been the largest in U.S. history,” the New York Times admitted five weeks after the nation’s voters rejected the Democrats’ wealth-shifting migration policy.

NYT claims 8 million, my sources say 8.7 million.

That means he'll have to round up 9 to 12 million (depending if the actual number is 8 or 11 million, as many sources have it) more people than the actual number of immigrants (because Trump will never admit he's wrong), so you can bet those 9 to 12 million will be US citizens.
Go ahead Mr. Trump. Deport American citizens. I double-dog dare you. The people won't stand for it.

20 million is total. 8 million is Joe's portion
@Earl-of-Trumps saidImmigration slowed dramatically during COVID; it was fully expected that the backlog would cause a significant uptick after the pandemic.

And while you won't find any writing for Breitbart, the overwhelming consensus among reputable economists is that Immigration is overwhelmingly positive economically esp. for a nation with a worker shortage like the present US.
@no1marauder saidhow convenient that 20 million future democrats are "good for the economy"

of course they cost us $100K per person per year in the interum, or $trillions per year.
ya, REAL good for the economy
@Earl-of-Trumps said"Trillions per year"?

LMFAO! You mathematical and economic illiterate.
This chart says close to 3 million people became Legal Permanent Residents in the US in the years 2021-23. https://www.migrationpolicy.org/programs/data-hub/charts/Annual-Number-of-US-Legal-Permanent-Residents
Final stats for 2024 aren't available, but say another 1 million became LPRs in that year.
Consider that many immigrants right wingers call "illegal" are asylum seekers who, by law, can apply for asylum even if they don't enter the country at designated points of entry.
So Breitbart is deliberately exaggerating the "problem" to impress the gullible and ignorant like Earl.
@no1marauder saidIs that a fact you moron
"Trillions per year"?
LMFAO! You mathematical and economic illiterate.
$100,000 x 20,000,000 add 5 0's to 20 million = $20,000,000,000,000 = $20 trillion
suck on that for a while. and don't responding, you're nothing but a troll
@Earl-of-Trumps saidThe $100,000 figure is pulled from your posterior; immigrants, even undocumented ones, are a net gain to the US economy.

@Suzianne said"The people..." Always reminded of a scene in 'Lincoln' (2012). 😆
The people won't stand for it.
William Seward : Madam, if the rebels surrendered next week, would you, at the end of this month, want Congressman Burton to vote for the Thirteenth Amendment?
Mrs. Jolly : If that was how it was, no more war an' all, I reckon Mr Jolly much prefer not to have Congress pass the Amendment.
William Seward : And... why is that?
Mr. Jolly : [looks at Seward in surprise] N*gg*rs.
Mrs. Jolly : If he don't have to let some Alabama coon come up from Missouri and steal his chickens and his job, we'd much prefer that.
[Seward takes Mrs Jolly's letter, walks over to Lincoln and puts it on his desk]
William Seward : [quietly] The people...

@no1marauder saidNo, it is not made up. Let's remember that welfare, as an example, spends 2/3's of its budget on their own administration.
The $100,000 figure is pulled from your posterior; immigrants, even undocumented ones, are a net gain to the US economy.
So I don't doubt @100K, however, if you like 1/3 of that, $33.34 thousand per person per year, then you get $6.67 trillion.
math was not your favorite, was it.
@Earl-of-Trumps saidHe's not wrong. All libertarians I know* are for COMPLETELY open borders. 😆
@no1marauder
go troll someone else, will you?
Except the Mises Caucus**. That you?
* Former member of the Libertarian Party, county vice-chair, and ran for office twice.
** The Mises Caucus was a Republican-funded takeover effort of the Libertarian Party, which succeeded at the national level, if not at every state/county level.
@Earl-of-Trumps saidSo you're claiming every undocumented immigrant is on welfare?

You must be a complete idiot who reads Breitbart like fundamentalists read the Bible. Besides the obvious fact that undocumented immigrants aren't eligible for all federal antipoverty programs and your 20 million claim is a joke:
"Of the 22 million people in households with an unauthorized immigrant, 11 million are U.S. born or lawful immigrants. They include:
1.3 million U.S.-born adults who are children of unauthorized immigrants. (We cannot estimate the total number of U.S.-born adult children of unauthorized immigrants because available data sources only identify those who still live with their unauthorized immigrant parents.)
1.4 million other U.S.-born adults and 3.0 million lawful immigrant adults."
"The number of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. workforce grew from 7.4 million in 2019 to 8.3 million in 2022. The 2022 number equals previous highs in 2008 and 2011.
Unauthorized immigrants represent about 4.8% of the U.S. workforce in 2022. This was below the peak of 5.4% in 2007.
Since 2003, unauthorized immigrants have made up 4.4% to 5.4% of all U.S. workers, a relatively narrow range.
The share of the U.S. workforce made up by unauthorized immigrants is higher than their 3.3% share of the total U.S. population. That’s because the unauthorized immigrant population includes relatively few children or elderly adults, groups that tend not to be in the labor force."
https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/07/22/what-we-know-about-unauthorized-immigrants-living-in-the-us/
So 11 million undocumented immigrants two years ago of which about 75% are employed.
