In athletic competition a person born with a man's body has more than just a hormonal advantage over women.
Women have thinner cartilage and smaller joint surfaces than men after adjustment for body height and weight

I watched a documentary about female Russian Athletes during the 80's. The Eastern Block nations used to pump their female athletes with huge amounts of male hormones to increase performance. A shot put athlete was interviewed and she said that she suffered serious knee and other joint problems because although the steroids and testasterone did improve the muscle mass, her joints could not take the extra stress created by the muscle.
@dood111 saidThis is why people dislike Republicans.
And the Dems act like jerks over it: https://trendingpolitics.com/total-meltdown-democrats-scream-pound-desks-like-animals-after-gop-rep-proposes-amendment-to-protect-womens-sports-crugg/?utm_source=collin&utm_medium=facebookPT
A bill meant to refuse transsexuals equal rights becomes a bill to "protect women's sports".
Like they give half a rat's ass about women's sports any other time.
@suzianne saidIf it was really about transsexual equal rights, you would see people born as women competing against men.

Every case I have seen, it is a person who was born into a man's body that wants to compete against people who were born women.
If there is no difference between men and women, then there should be no sex distinction made, just a competition where everyone competes against each other.
@suzianne saidI agree with your condemnation of the republican hypocrisy on the issue.

However, personally, I can’t really see it being fair in sports.
That being said, sports, to me, are nothing but games and shouldn’t be taken so seriously.
@shavixmir saidSo these girls that are losing athletic scholarships to men pretending to be girls is OK with you?

@eladar saidSuzianne, this post proves your 'equality' post to be wrong.

@dood111 saidAthletic scholarships are retarded at best.
So these girls that are losing athletic scholarships to men pretending to be girls is OK with you?
Or do you have D&D scholarships as well?
Bloody stupid.
These are not men pretending to be girls.
And I can’t judge how much muscle tone, tissue, etc. Degenerates after transition. If not enough, then I can imagine an unlevel playing field.
And I don’t care. It’s games. Nothing more. Anybody who takes sports seriously obviously isn’t getting enough sex.

Congratulations, racist, you want many african americans tossed out of college.
@huckleberryhound saidI saw that. US track's fastest women, banned from olympics for using pot. Oy.
Seems like the only place i could say this without seeming something-phobic....
It is crazy to me that someone with such a hormonal advantage over their opponents should be allowed to compete, while at the same time banning someone for smoking pot.
I wonder if she smoked it in a state where it was legal. In the end it won't matter. Sad.
