Congressman Boehner has declared the Tea Party illegitimate in the wake of critisicm over their last budget agreement.
Apparently running trillion dollar deficits is the only option in Washington, there really are no other viable options. Therefore, anyone who opposes this position should be considered uncredible and devoid of intellect.
I would say something to criticize Congressman Boehner but am refraining myself from doing so because I can't stand to see the man cry.

Then again, illegitimate politicians find there way into office anyhow, so does it really matter who I vote for? 😛
Oh how I long to be enlightened and accepted by the powers that be.

The deficit is already decreasing slightly under Obama, and we should be doing more redistributive domestic stimulus spending, since we're in a recession caused by growing income and wealth disparity. If you want to pay back the national debt, ban campaign finance, abolish corporate handouts and loopholes, and raise the top marginal tax rate on the rich and corporations. Most of the national debt was caused by the presidents of Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, due to tax cuts for the rich, and neoconservative military spending.

The "compromise" doesn't solve any issues, but it at least beats another shutdown farce. Tea Party voters are going to vote GOP anyway, regardless of whether they put the lovechild of Reagan and Coolidge or the antichrist forth as their candidate.

I could care less about the GOP, so save your breath. In my view they are no better than the DNC.

Very well, lets see how Boehner and company does without conservatives. Frankly it is a breath of fresh air to see them dissing conservatives rather than just verbally trying to appeal to them and they selling them down the road later.

The fact is that the GOP has run up debt when they had control of government let alone when the DNC is in control. I hear all this talk about the battle over the soul of the GOP, to which I would say, what soul?
Could any of you liberals imagine Harry Reid whining about anything? Could you imagine him crying on camera? No. Politics aside, Boehner makes me want to puke just looking at him. Everyone hates him, including yourself.

Why should they? They all have their ways of getting reelected anyway.

Originally posted by whodeyI have a question for "Tea Party" oriented conservatives: what if progressives offered you a bipartisan crusade against campaign finance? This would help you out, in the Republican civil war against the Big Business Republican establishment.
