@jj-adams saidYou know, lying in politics, everybody does it, some like Biden to actually deceive, but has any one of them besides the Democrat, Bill Clinton, lied before God under Oath? Maybe Suzy can research that for us. And come up with a clever gotcha!

Politicians say different things depending on whether they are formally under oath or not. They say the lie on TV, and the truth behind closed doors. This seems to be a very bad development.
Politicians should be held to an 'under oath' standard all the time. To get into the office, they swear to "bear true faith".
If this standard was enforced, we would lose more than half of our current politicians immediately. Maybe that'd be a good thing.

@averagejoe1 saidYes - And I'm sure he stole a candy bar from the corner drugstore when he was 12.
He was a Democrat
So - What's your point?

@mchill saidYeah, and you prob ate your brother's candy bar, which is stealing. I have too.

But this is a swearing-under-Oath situation. I guess I have a fib in my background, and several white lies, venial sins for sure. So does Jimmy Carter. But Jimmy and I do not lie under oath. You would not, no one we know would. I don't even know any one with a tattoo or piercing , so you know that I do not know a person that lies under oath. So, that leaves you. Would you lie under oath?
I hope you get my point, it all goes without saying, I would imagine. A homeless guy in SF probably would if it would get him some weed.
