California pays about $23 billion for illegal alien welfare
But not even near that for it's own homeless citizens.

Is this the way it should be?

@whodey saidThis is why European countries are shifting to the right as well. I was talking to a person from Finland who was sending me messages making fun of Trump. I said that I supported Trump because he claimed to want to stop immigration, the reply was then I like Trump too.

The very reason given was that immigrants get benefits while natives go without.

@whodey saidThat link of yours...I can see the Examiner’s bullpen discussion: ”Let’s lead with a 4 year old pic of Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez. That’s a vaguely relevant dog whistle to our base.”

But I do appreciate your concern about how my CA state taxes are spent. I am glad to see that CA citizens are the less needful of our residents. Something is working.
@js357 saidI guess that is why so many are leaving California...Why do you want to lie about it?

@kazetnagorra saidPlease don’t be so glib, this is a problem we conservatives have known about from Fox for sometime . Sad,for everyone on both sides. CA asked for this, can someone here tell us what your city fathers we’re thinking of. Absolutely amazing.
How should things be, whodey?
Whodey’s question is a good one. How should things be.

@whodey saidHow much is the California taxpayer bill for homeless? Some of the homeless, of course, are illegals.

@wildgrass saidTwo step process? Illegals back to their homes, and then deal with the homeless problem. I think it is 2 different problems? It would be difficult to thresh out as one problem, as the homeless have certain rights, ......the people who are here illegally, they just don’t.

@averagejoe1 saidSure, I was just pointing out that they are not mutually-exclusive groups. That figure whodey cited regarding the gov't costs (which includes police presence and health care) is an estimate that includes some of the homeless.

It's unrelated to this thread, but sending illegals home is a logistical impossibility. You'd have an easier time getting all the water in the St. Lawrence river back up to the top of Niagara Falls.

"The economic impact of illegal immigrants in the United States is challenging to measure, and politically contentious. The scarcity of reliable statistics leaves room for many methods of study, leading to diverse conclusions."

@wildgrass saidyou dont have to send anyone anywhere. Remove the incentives and they remove themselves. We all know this is a democrat ploy to get voters, just admit that much.

Look, I know the message of the right is fear, because they've got nothing else, but could you stop shaking in your boots for five seconds and start thinking for yourselves?
I know it's scary, but you can do it.

@eladar saidSuch kind and humble "Christian" thinking.
Seems to me that anyone who wants to work here can, as long as they receive exactly zero social program support. If they wish they should be able to receive free room and board from immigration as they ask for transportation back to their own country.
